Here I will be discussing about the use of hair sprays and their advantages and disadvantages.
I used to apply hair sprays instead of using oil as my hair was quite dry and looked messed up when I used leave my hair. The hair spray I used to use was Gatsby Hair Spray that was recommended by the store where I purchased the same from. I used to apply gel on my hair before but it used to make my hair too wet and sticky and hence hair spray was the best option for me then.
When I started using hair sprays first, my daughter too wanted to give it a try and we both used to spray it on our hair after washing the hair and leave for work. The hair spray worked well first and I noticed that my hair was set even after hours of travel and work and till the hair did not come in contact with water, it remained as it is. However, the only issue I had with the product was that it used to make the hair strands stiff and the hair appeared as if it had gel without the sticky feeling.
After using the product for about 6 weeks, I noticed that the quality of my hair and my daughter's hair too reduced drastically and my daughter who is still young started getting white hair. It never happened with her before but it was after the use of this hair spray that her hair started turning white. I thought that it's because I bought an unknown brand but after that when I tried Loreal hair spray, my hair started falling a lot and hence I do not recommended use of hair sprays as while some cause whitening of the hair, others can lead to increased hair fall.
